Alaska Care Compass V2.0: Building the Next Generation of Care Navigation for Alaska
Alaska Care Compass is preparing for its next major release: Version 2.0, targeted for October 1, 2026.
What began as a statewide care directory is evolving into a broader platform for care navigation, referrals, communication, provider coordination, and organizational support — built specifically for Alaska.
V2.0 represents a significant step forward in that mission.
What’s Coming in V2.0
Version 2.0 is being designed around a more unified experience for families, care coordinators, assisted living providers, healthcare organizations, and community partners across the state.
Planned improvements include:
- A stronger statewide care-search and navigation experience
- Improved facility and provider mapping
- Better address verification and geocoding
- Expanded organization profiles and verified information
- A unified organizational portal for participating providers
- Improved referral and care-coordination workflows
- Better communication between organizations and care partners
- Provider and organization management tools
- Reporting, analytics, and operational insights
- Improved security, permissions, and organizational access controls
- Continued consolidation and cleanup of legacy systems
- A stronger technical foundation designed to support future statewide growth
The goal is not simply to add more features.
We are building Alaska Care Compass to be easier to use, more reliable, and more useful for the people and organizations navigating Alaska’s fragmented healthcare and long-term-care system.
Built for Alaska
Finding care in Alaska can be difficult.
Information is often spread across government databases, provider websites, spreadsheets, phone calls, individual organizations, and systems that do not communicate with one another.
Alaska Care Compass is being developed to help connect those pieces.
Our long-term vision is a statewide platform where:
- Families can more easily identify appropriate care and services.
- Providers can maintain accurate and verified information.
- Care coordinators can locate resources and organizations more efficiently.
- Healthcare and community organizations can communicate and coordinate more effectively.
- Alaska can develop a stronger, more connected care-navigation infrastructure.
The challenges of delivering and finding care in Alaska are unique. The technology supporting that system should be designed with those realities in mind.
Founder Pricing Available Through September 30
Organizations that join Alaska Care Compass before the V2.0 launch can still secure the $39/month Founder Rate through September 30, 2026.
Founder pricing recognizes the providers and organizations supporting Alaska Care Compass during its early development and statewide expansion.
These early partners are helping shape the platform through participation, feedback, and real-world experience.
October 1 Statewide Release Target
We are targeting October 1, 2026 for the statewide release of Alaska Care Compass V2.0.
That target remains subject to final security, data-integrity, migration, reliability, and release-readiness testing.
We would rather delay a feature than release functionality that does not meet the standards required for a platform that families, providers, and care organizations may depend on.
There is still significant work underway, but the direction is clear:
Alaska Care Compass is evolving from a directory into statewide care-navigation infrastructure built for Alaska.
Thank you to the providers, care coordinators, families, advocates, community organizations, and partners who continue to provide feedback and help shape what comes next.
